The Bar Series

Some places have a way of staying with you.

The Bar Series began with a cabin on the river, a place everyone simply called The Bar, and the people whose lives had been woven through it for generations.

At the center of the series are Morgan and Ashley, but their story has always been about something larger. Family, friendship, second chances, and the places that quietly become home.

There are old records playing. Oyster roasts beneath the live oaks. Cold beer on hot afternoons. Boats coming home before dark. Long conversations around kitchen tables. And people learning that sometimes the life you weren't looking for is the one that fits you best.

The Last Good Seat at the Bar

Book One of The Bar Series

This is where it all begins.

Morgan returns to the Lowcountry and to a place filled with history, memory and people who have known one another for most of their lives.

What she finds at The Bar becomes something she never expected. A connection to the past, a different kind of future, and a place that begins to feel like home.

Music From Open Windows

Book Two of The Bar Series

The story continues.

Life at The Bar has settled into something Morgan never expected to have. But as another holiday season approaches, new possibilities begin pulling at the life she and Ashley have built.

Old traditions return. Family gathers. Music carries through open windows.

And Morgan begins to understand that finding home and choosing it aren't always the same thing.
